A note from the Watermelon team

We started Watermelon because we saw the same problem everywhere — startups move fast, but design becomes the bottleneck. Founders are stuck stitching together fragmented tools, fighting inconsistent UI, and watching product development slow down at the worst possible time.

We've been there. We've seen teams ship products with broken design systems, scramble to find a design partner who actually understands early-stage chaos, and waste weeks on things that should take days.

So we built Watermelon — a unified design ecosystem that combines services, systems, and inspiration into one platform. Not another tool. An infrastructure.

The Problem

Design at startups is broken. You hire a freelancer who disappears. You buy a UI kit that doesn't match your product. You spend three months building a design system from scratch — and then pivot.

There's no single place where a startup can get design done right. No ecosystem. No infrastructure. Just a bunch of disconnected solutions that don't talk to each other.
